evaluation of pre-graduation medical education

The exams conducted at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine by years and the competency areas that these exams aim to measure are presented below. Competency areas measured by years in the Faculty of Medicine program

Periods I and II

Knowledge and skills in the practical exams held at the end of the board,
Knowledge, skills and attitude through a structured form of LOA assessment,
In PBL exams, knowledge with multiple-choice exam, knowledge and clinical reasoning skills with CORE exam, and attitude with the evaluation of the educational director,
Knowledge through multiple-choice exams in board, end-of-board, end-of-year and make-up exams,

In Period III

Knowledge and skills in the practical exams held at the end of the board,
Knowledge, skills and attitude with MBB assessment (OSCE exam),
Knowledge through multiple-choice exams in board, end-of-board, end-of-year and make-up exams,

In Periods IV and V

Knowledge, skills and attitude through practice and structured exams (such as OSCE, structured oral exams, practical exams),
Theoretical exams and exams that measure knowledge are conducted.
